Summoning

Summoning is a band where a bunch of dorks play black metal and sing about Lord of the Rings and it's awesome. They come from a little country somewhere in Europe called Austria and they are one of the main representatives of Austria in metal world. Everyone knows about Summoning, I don't even know why I'm posting this but I guess I should because this was one of my first black metal bands and I still like them very much. So for that reason I give you their albums and one EP.

Oh and if you are new with this band then start with "Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame".

  1. I agree; a great band.

And that logo! Surely one of the best ever.

  2. Yes the logo is very unique. I'm surprised they kept it from their demo years. Back then they were a stereotypical satanic black metal band which explains the pointless pentagram in the logo.

  4. I can't really say. I don't have any of their works on cd.
