Use HJ split to patch up the files.

Just tick "keep broken files" and the movie will extract just fine.

I won't reveal anything important about this movie because I think it would ruin it. I'm giving you the chance to experience it as I did.

Deathspell Omega - Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum

The pages of the booklet were too big for me to scan them sorry. :(

Speaking of metal here's something completely awesome. Deathspell Omega is a well known underground (or is it?) black metal band that caught the attention of the scene when they released Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice. Before that they were pretty much a Darkthrone clone with a little special touch their own. After SMRC they released an awesome ep Kenose and a few splits etc. And then came something even better. Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum.

Fas album was out in 2007 on Norma Evangelium Diaboli. And holy shit, when I first started listening I didn't really realize what's going on. But on the second listen I was completely amazed by its sound. The band is serious business so they give a lot of thought in their lyrics which are all connected on their albums. This is the second part of a trilogy that started with SMRC. First one was dealing with the relation between humans and god/satan while this album is dealing with the realtion between angels and god. The lyrics in the bootleg are constructed as a story, there aren't any song titles in it. It all looks like one big monologue of an angel.

The music itself while black metal in essence it's not really that straightforward. The song structures are very unorthodox when compared to more classic bands like Darkthrone, Marduk etc. There are a lot of dissonant sounds, bending, squealing and all sorts of weird note to highlight the overall insanity of the whole concept. Subjectively speaking I love this album, possibly my favorite black metal album ever. Nevertheless a lot of people hate it especially because of its chaotic style of playing.

Peace Sells

Argh, yesterday I left the movie to upload over night by of course my delightful connection decided to drop out so only 2 parts were uploaded. So sadly it's going to be posted tomorrow! >_< In any case, if you have nothing to do here's something neat.

I'll Bill and his friends (Necro etc.) are all rappers but they show a lot of interest in metal. Ill Bill made a song called Peace Sells which turns out to be full of references to metal bands, albums, songs and musicians. I spent a little time reading the lyrics and finding the connections. I don't think I found them on so drop in a comment if I missed something. I also added the lyrics below and a numbered the references and added the detail below. Here's the song:

Lyrics:

I'm a creator of terror berserk teens no escape from the toxic traits (1)
Pop ya face storm 'em with madness and blind faith (2)
The angel of death (3) read between the lines out the heaven
Expectable youth divine intervention (4) teachin' y'all a lesson of violence (5)
Doctor Death injectin a virus apocalypse
I'm a horseman in the circle of tyrants in debts for era
Posessed like Jeff Parcera (6)
Consuming impulse (7) drown you in the depths of terror forever

[Chorus]
Peace sells but who's buying (8)
Who's tryin who's crying who's lying in a pool of blood dying
Peace sells but who's buying
Who's tryin who's crying who's poppin with a four pound iron (9)
Peace sells but who's buying
Who's tryin who's crying who's lying in a pool of blood dying
Peace sells but who's buying
Who's tryin who's crying who's lying in a pool of blood

Stranger in hell buy America day to betrayal
Brainwashed by a system that's created to fell (10)
Freedomer fire securetron arm in his fate
Fear factory (11) manufacturing hi-tech hate
A slave new world (12) world gone mad a world without heroes
Used to go to show surrounded by weirdos
Lovelomoss masterin the science of war
Read metal forces magazines dying to tour
Power hatchets & carnivals livin their life for agony
Where to go we got to know like Harry Flanagan
I lecture funeral children of a grave behind a wall I sleep (13)
Be afraid kill 'em to be safe
I don't need society down for life foul & trife
Ill Bill dirty rotten imbecil down to fight
Give me my taxes back money god's a liar
Speak truth to deaf americans like Tah Meraya (14)

[Chorus]

Psychic vacuum jab you with a knife & stab you
Rival this medicine try veconvictions as heroin
Experiment macrosolutions to megaproblems
Let the revolvers solve 'em chaos miners a cosmic drama
Peace sells but who's buyin so I stay with the funds
We real so you die find you laced with the slugs
With the quickness you callin me my sacred love
I got bad brains the reason I spray with guns now listen

References:

1 - toxic traits (could be Toxic Trace song by Kreator)
2 - blind faith (Hirax - Blind Fate)
3 - The angel of death (obviously Slayer - Angel Of Death)
4 - divine intervention (another Slayer reference, this time its the Divine Intervention album)
5 - a lesson of violence (Exodus song)
6 - Posessed like Jeff Parcera (Jeff Benjamin Becerra, vocalist of the band Possessed)
7 - Consuming impulse (Pestilence album from 1989)
8 - Peace sells but who's buying (obvious refrence to Megadeth and their song)
9 - poppin with a four pound iron (not sure but could be Razor - Shotgun Justice?)
10 - Brainwashed by a system that's created to fell (uhh, System Of A Down? :S)
11 - Fear factory (US band)
12 - A slave new world (could be mockery of Iron Maidens song Brave New World)
13 - I lecture funeral children of a grave behind a wall I sleep (Black Sabbath songs:
Children of the Grave, Behind the Wall of Sleep and when he says "I lecture funeral" it kinda sounds like Electric Funeral.
14 - Tah Meraya (very likely Tom Arrayas (Slayer vocalist) name spelled wrong)

I'm sure there are more, so add some if you recognize them! :3

Jun Hayami - Hentai Shounen

About the movie, I'll be uploading it during this night so it should be up here tomorrow, along with something else I got in the email today.

But anyway, on to the post. It has been a long time since I posted something from this peculiar man. Lets get things strait, most people will find this very offensive so don't read it unless you are into guro, and I mean some serious guro. :P

Now what exactly is supposed to be offensive? Well I find this word kinda ironic. Especially since there are bands who supposedly support death and destruction but when asked about the holocaust and the nazi regime they do not wish to be connected with them. As if its offensive, it will give them a bad name. But they promote death and destruction. And there aren't a lot of nations who did so effectively. So why not support them? But nazism is offensive so they childishly avoid it because it will hurt their sales and venues won't ask them to play.

What all this has to do with this manga? Well, this manga, and this artist in general, is possibly the most direct and most perverse of all guro artists that I have come across. There's no political correctness here nor the attempt to dodge the "offensive" themes. It's not all drawn so pretty and user friendly like what Uziga does nor it's artistic as Maruos works are. This is just a direct slap to the face of everything that's considered to be moral and good. Hentai Shonen looks like a compilation of all the perverse needs that this author has. It does not matter if its a decapitated leg or table masturbation (it was quite funny to read it though) it tells the story so absurdly that you can't help but to wonder what the hell this man is thinking. Not to mention that the main character is named after the author so he might have actually done some of those things in reality (there's a rumor circulating that this author is in insane asylum, but that's just rumors).

I'm sure all the cool kids will be all over this just to show how sick they are. I don't read it for such purposes. I read it for other purposes. And no, I won't tell you why because I don't really have the need defend myself. You will either like this or hate it. It's up to you to decide.

Another thing I find very interesting is how people react to this. I don't really try to hide the fact that I read and watch shit like this to people. I find it entertaining to see how they will react. It's entertaining because media like this is everywhere. Have you ever read any Cannibal Corpse lyrics? Yet they are an world wide popular band signed to some major record company. They sing about killing in very brutal details but no one seems to have a problem with it that much anymore. It's a trend nowadays to be like that anyway. Another example are the Saw series. But when it's so direct and so honest like this one it's suddenly offensive? In fact his newest book had to be published only as an ebook because there was no printing company in the whole USA and Japan that wanted to print it. How absurd is this? Well I'm going a bit off topic. I might debate this a little more further in another post.

Very explicit content (read at your own risk, don't cry about it in the comments):

Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen - A sense of place

Here's something that's very overlooked. I really don't know why because this is really good. So what the hell is this? Well Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen are a couple that goes around America playing some fine folk songs. Last.fm tells me that they are country singers but I don't really notice the country influence here? Well not at least the American one. It reminds me more of Irish folk. Most songs are very calm in their nature, there are few merry ones but most are actually very sad sounding which goes along with the title. "A Sense Of Place", the music is really like that. Get this ye hippe fucks. ;D

VIDEOGIOCO by Donato Sansone

An interesting dream.

So I had this peculiar dream last night. It was in sequences but I only remember the last sequence of the dream. I was located somewhere in the countryside that's very similar to the countryside where I live. It looks something like: rocks, rocks, dead trees and more rocks. So I was walking through these fields a little until I came to a street (not a modern asphalted street but a dirt road) with a few houses. Each house was turned backwards from that street so each house had a small wooden gate and a backyard. I entered in one of those backyards and saw two people there. One of those people happened to be a childhood friend of mine that I haven't seen in a long time. Apparently they were just standing there until a local celebrity was sort of walking by them (the guy on the left). This friend of mine then yelled "HEY THIS GUY IS SERBIAN" and so they proceeded to beat the shit out of him (see this for explanation). When I saw what was happening I looked around and picked up a medium sized rock, Apparently when I'm in dreams everything seems to be really heavy to handle so I was having a real tough time picking it up and moving it. Eventually I managed to hit my friend with that rock in the head. The other guy ran away and the celebrity I was mentioning was already dead. So with nothing else left to do I started hitting him with that rock, in the face, repeatedly. Since the rock was so heavy or whatever I was hitting him very slowly. In fact so slow that I didn't do any actually damage I was just peeling the skin of his face with every hit and his eyes dropped out at some point. Eventually all that was left was his skull covered in blood but he was alive for some reason. I smacked his bloody skull again and a part of it came off to which I yelled "Die already!" and then he asked me "What am I?" so I said in frustration "Dead!" and he asked me after that "Does that mean I'm Croatian or Serbian?". :S

After that he fell on the ground and I moved on. I got back on the dirt road and entered another small back yard where there was a big black tree with no leaves. In front of the tree there was a small black wooden cross fixated in the ground (possibly an animal grave? I had a rabbit once). On each side from the cross there were three girls. They all had black hair and kinda pale white faces with very tired blue eyes. What's interesting is that they were missing a few, uhh, parts. From just a little down from the neck to all the way down to the hips they were just bones. Every other organ was there except that certain area. They also had for some reason white knee highs and dark maroon panties and their arms had those black gloves that went all the way to their elbows. They were all around that cross; pleasuring themselves. After that I kinda freaked out and started touching their bones for some reason and then I woke up.

If dreams have meaning man what the hell is this supposed to mean?

I don't do drugs by the way. :D

Sasquatch - Sasquatch

Sasquatch was formed in Los Angeles, California in the year 2001 by Philadelphia transplant Keith Gibbs and Detroit native’s Rick Ferrante & Clayton Charles. Sharing the stage with some of LA rock’s finest, Fireball Ministry, Nebula and Unida has helped the band become a local favorite and developed a name that is synonymous with quality kick ass rock. Drawing on influences from 70’ metal, rock and psychedellia their songwriting approach is simple and mainly relies on the theories of feel and technique, a sorely missed aspect of most modern day rock amalgamations.

They aren't very famous nor did the exactly reinvent the genre. But it is some good old school stoner rock fun. It has the groovy riffs, the distorded guitars and those signature vocals that a lot stoner rock bands tend to have.

World Burns To Death - No Dawn Comes... Night Without End 7'' EP

Here's something a bit more harsh than the usual music that I'm lately posting. World Burns To Death is a crusty hardcore/d-beat whatever punk band from Texas. World Burns To Death’s music reflects the tradition of ’80s purist American hardcore (Negative Approach and Minor Threat), European bands influenced by, and including, Discharge, and japanese hardcore punk (Burning Spirits). Also in the mix may be hints of black metal and crust. In any case if you want some good violent fun get this 7''.

Crazy People - Bedlam

Crazy People like many other psych rock bands were active during the 70s and didn't last very long. I don't think they released anything else besides this overlooked album. There's not much info about them on the net but from what I understood this is some kind of supergroup. It's only rumored though because the identities of the band members were never released so it might be just a marketing trick to make people buy it.

Musically it can't be any more psychedelic than it is. The usual set up of instruments. Those church sounding organs, cheesy porn movie sounding bass, drums and guitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. Along with the usual set up there are some weird experimentation and a habit of interrupting the jam with some weirdo sounds. I'm not very knowledgeable about the whole psych rock scene so I can't really give a detailed description. :(

Got one of my favorite black metal albums ever the other day so I must brag:

It's the out of print LP version from 2007. <3 Got it for surprisingly a cheap price. It was merely 14 dollars from some Spanish distro and it was unopened and unplayed. The booklet is huge. :O If I manage to scan it I'll post it, along with the flac rip of the album :3

MUTO

Isaac Shepard - Deep Joy

Everybody has their own favorite instrument. My happens to be the piano closely followed by harp and cello but I'll always rather listen to a piano rather than a cello and so on. Well this album is all about the piano. From what I read Shepard tends to switch to several genres with every album but he made this and another one (can't remember the name) that's solely composed for piano. I found about him through a (good) video game actually, some indie crap on IGN.

The music itself is very soft, sometimes a little energetic but mostly calm and relaxing. Perfect for this autumnal time of the year and wrist cutting. ;D

Tracklist is messed up a bit, the songs aren't numbered.
