Grč (Spasm) - Sloboda Narodu

Sloboda Narodu is translated to Freedom to the People. Grč (or spasm) is an band that came out of my city. They were a part of so called Riječki novi val (Rijekas new wave) movement in which more famous bands like Pankrti, Termiti, Parafi etc. also were. It was a movement of alternative music (mostly punk) that started around the beginning of 80s. They also have this controversial song called "Tonight Beograd burns" (first track) which may lead to people think that they are right wing nationalists which is wrong. The song called like that to provoke the communist regime not national hate. And that song really did make an impact because their first concert was violently canceled by the police. The music is I guess post punk, dark and gloomy. Definitely check out.
